Edwardiaanse schoolklok – Engelse wandklok – W. Potts & Sons

Prachtige Engelse fusee wandklok, vermoedelijk gebruikt als school- of stationsklok, vervaardigd door het gerenommeerde W. Potts & Sons uit Engeland. 
Deze klok dateert uit ca. 1911, zoals af te leiden uit het binnenin aanwezige label van de horlogemaker E. Duffner, met een datum van 18 april 1911.

De klok heeft een klassieke eikenhouten kast met een diepe, warme patina, en een wit geëmailleerde wijzerplaat met Romeinse cijfers. 
De klok is uitgerust met een Engels fusee-uurwerk, wat bekendstaat om zijn nauwkeurigheid en betrouwbaarheid.

Aan de onderkant bevindt zich een houten serviceluik voor onderhoud aan het mechanisme. 
Het uurwerk is volledig van messing en voorzien van een kruisende pijlen signatuur, wat duidt op een kwalitatief uurwerk uit deze periode.

Conditie:
Goede antieke staat met gebruikssporen passend bij de leeftijd. 
Uurwerk functioneert.
Het glas van de wijzerplaat heeft een zichtbare barst, maar is nog intact, zie laatste foto, rode cirkel.

Breedte: 42 cm.
Diepte: 14 cm.
Gewicht: 3,5 kg.

De kavel wordt zorgvuldig verpakt en aangetekend, verzekerd verzonden met een track-en-tracé-nummer.
