Jacques de Basher : celui que beaucoup qualifient de «parasite» côtoie Grace Jones, Warhol et Mick Jagger. Admirateur de l’œuvre de Visconti, il devient l’ami et l’amant de Karl Lagerfeld jusqu'à sa mort. Le peintre David Hockney le «croque aux crayons de couleur», et il passe des nuits à parler du pape avec Francis Bacon. Lorsqu’il s’ennuie, il s’envole avec Kenzo pour danser à Ibiza ou à New York. Son vrai projet: ne rien faire
