Classic Cut has been created to showcase the harmony of our casks with the union of sherry seasoned oak casks and ex-bourbon American oak casks, bringing to life The Macallan's profile. The Macallan Whisky Mastery Team has created this expression to perfectly complement the sweet lightness brought by ex-bourbon casks with the depth and complexity of The Macallan's sherry seasoned flavoured and memorable whisky to savour.

Colour: Sunlit straw.
Aroma: Vanilla with candied orange peel and honey, sweet sultana and raisin with fresh oak and thyme.
Palate: Ginger warmth, sweet orange, vanilla and honey with a fresh vibrant oak.
Finish: Initially sweet journeying to lingering fresh thyme.
