Stauning Smoke danish whisky 70cl

Stauning Smoke is een unieke Deense whisky die bekend staat om zijn rokerige karakter. Deze whisky wordt geproduceerd door de Stauning Distillery, gelegen aan de westkust van Denemarken. De distilleerderij maakt gebruik van lokaal geteelde gerst en rogge, die op traditionele wijze wordt gemout en gedroogd boven een open vuur van turf en heide. Dit geeft de whisky zijn kenmerkende rokerige smaak. Stauning Smoke wordt gedistilleerd in kleine koperen ketels en gerijpt in zorgvuldig geselecteerde vaten, wat resulteert in een complexe en rijke whisky met een diepe, rokerige smaak.

Stauning
Stauning Distillery is een Deense whiskystokerij, gelegen in het westen van Jutland, nabij het dorpje Stauning. De distilleerderij werd in 2005 opgericht door negen Deense whisky-enthousiastelingen. Wat Stauning Whisky bijzonder maakt, is hun toewijding aan traditionele productiemethoden. Ze gebruiken lokaal geteelde rogge en gerst, die ze zelf mouten op de vloer, een zeldzame en arbeidsintensieve methode die zorgt voor een authentieke smaak. De whisky wordt gedistilleerd in kleine koperen pot stills die direct worden verhit, wat bijdraagt aan de complexe smaken. Stauning produceert zowel single malt als rye whisky, en ze experimenteren vaak met verschillende soorten vaten voor de rijping, zoals sherry- en rumvaten. Dit resulteert in unieke en rijke smaakprofielen die de schoonheid van de Deense natuur weerspiegelen.
