Phone card size: approx. 8.5 x 5.5 cm
Long out-of-print edition, here in an untouched folder. The card is new and unused. The card was loaded with 6 DM.
The motif dates back to 1990 from the series 81 RIZZI PRINTS ON THE WALL and there it bears the title "SUGAR, BABY, COOKIE, HONEY". A love letter in true Rizzi style. A must-have for every Rizzi collector.
This calling card was issued by Galerie Vogel, which represented the artist very early in Germany.
James Rizzi is currently very popular in Germany and alongside Charles Fazzino ranks among the best-known 3D artists. Although the artist himself described his artistic direction as "urban primitive," he is counted among Pop Art artists like Haring, Warhol, Lichtenstein, and Indiana.
