Porcelain ceramic vase by Hein Severijns (born 1936), Netherlands, measuring 12 cm wide, 20 cm high and 12 cm deep, in white/beige glaze from 1970–1980, in good condition with minor signs of aging and stains, with a repaired break in the neck.
Description from the seller
Hein Severijns (1936) is a Dutch ceramic artist from Maastricht. He trained at the Stadsacademie voor Beeldende Kunsten in Maastricht. Afterwards he attended the Werkkunstschule and Ingenieurschule in Germany. Severijns' vases are characteristic because they are decorated with a silk-matte crystal glaze developed by himself.
In the neck of the bottle, you can see that a crack has been repaired.
Viewing is, of course, possible. In addition, we have our own in-house frame shop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary. Furthermore, we make use of restorers from the professional organization: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you would like to make use of this, we would of course be pleased to hear from you.
