De klok stamt waarschijnlijk uit eind 1700 begin 1800
Het is een eikenhouten kast met een messing uurwerk.
Is in het verleden al eens gedeeltelijk gerestaureerd.
De klok loopt  goed en slaat op de hele uren. 
De klok heeft slechts een uur wijzer  en geen minuten wijzer
Het wekker mechaniek werkt maar is niet origineel
De gewichten zijn ook niet origineel
Het houtwerk ziet er  redelijk uit.  Tekenen  des tijds zijn zichtbaar.
Van de deurtjes / raam zijn de scharnieren vervangen.
De hoogte is 230 cm exclusief de drie ornamenten ( Atlas cq)

Aanvullende informatie door mij opgevraagd
Het museum in Sint Niklaas ( belgie ) heeft een vergelijkbare klok aangekocht

Twee zaken hebben geholpen bij het dateren van de klok:(dit is dus niet mijn klok)
1.    De vader van de schenker deed genealogisch onderzoek naar de familie Wauman. Dit wees uit dat de klok, die al generaties lang in familiebezit is, zou dateren van rond 1770. De klok werd dus gemaakt door Thomas Wouman (1697-1783) en (of) zijn zoon Franciscus Wouman (1741-1834). Hierdoor plaatsen de deze klok in de 2de helft van de 18de eeuw.
2.    De constructie en het mechanisme van de klok met één wijzer passen ook in deze periode.
