Deze goedfunctionerende bakelieten puntenslijper uit de jaren 40/50 van de vorige eeuw heeft de tand des tijds goed doorstaan . Hij is gemaakt van zwart/bruin bakeliet en gezien zijn leeftijd in nog zeer goede staat , ook het bakelieten opvangbakje is nog origineel en helemaal intact . Bij de slinger zit in de draaibare schijf echter een klein scheurtje (niet storend) zoals op de vele foto's te zien is , het is eventueel makkelijk te lijmen en het belemmert de werking absoluut niet . Een zeer mooi object voor de liefhebber/verzamelaar , ter decoratie of gewoon  te februiken sls kantoorartikel .
