Teso La Monja has more than 100 hectares of vineyards, planted on their own and native roots in the towns of Valdefinjas, Toro and Villabuena del Puente, with an age of up to 130 years.

The soils are very fresh, clayey, with limestone veins in the subsoil and abundant gravel on the surface. They are north-facing, with very long growing seasons. These characteristics ensure they maintain their identity and achieve the freshness and elegance to which their wines have accustomed us. By seeking the natural balance of the vineyard, with small yields of between 1,000 and 2,000 kg/ha, they achieve wines of maximum purity and identification with the terroir.

Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, it has a deep cherry red color. The nose is intense, with notes of black plums, figs, herbal and balsamic notes, and a spicy undertone. On the palate, it is a well-structured wine with a distinct flavor.
