“CANNED” was born from the alliance of two French artists, Charlotte Parenteau-Denoël, trained in art history and interior architecture, and Mofart’z, a cinema decorator. They are among the emerging artists on the international scene of contemporary and urban art. They exhibit and sell together with works by famous artists such as Blek le Rat, Shepard Fairey (Obey), Banksy, Mr Brainwash... and many others.
They use various techniques—painting, drawing, sculpture, photography…
Their art is eclectic.
Their shared aim is to bend the codes and symbols of a society of hyperindustrialization and excessive consumption to mock them.
