Rare Lounge Chair — 1960s Dutch Design

This chair is a rare prototype combining a aluminium base with rich brown corduroy upholstery. This minimalist design highlights mid-century dutch designers skill in merging sleek industrial materials with warm, tactile elements. The curved, ergonomic seat contrasts elegantly with the geometric chrome base, creating a timeless blend of comfort and sophistication. This unique chair reflects the commitment to simplicity, functionality, and precision. Condition
The chair is in good vintage condition. One button on the upholstery is slightly loose, and there's a thin spot on the seat fabric (see photos). The upholstery is original — extremely rare in this state — but it can be reupholstered to match your interior if desired. Please note that color may vary slightly in real life depending on lighting. I’ve done my best to capture it in the photos. Questions welcome.
