Description

The foundation of each Octomore series is the 15.1, which is the essential benchmark from which the other terms are derived.

Distilled from 100% Scotch barley. It displays a refined strength of character, balancing smooth vanilla cream and sweet charred oak with heady peat smoke.

A whisky that shows a deep influence of intense peat smoke, it has been matured in a combination of first-fill bourbon casks and re-charred bourbon casks, carefully extracting as much character as possible from the wood.

The result is a raw and uncompromising single malt whisky that demonstrates the refined strength of Octomore's character, balancing smooth vanilla cream and sweet charred oak with heady peat smoke.

The first expression in the 15th Anniversary Series is Octomore, which is characterised by its sleek, elegant style and extraordinary strength of character. The earthy peat smoke is beautifully balanced with sweet, charred oak, resulting in an unforgettable whisky.

The bottles are filled at 59.1% ABV.
