Reliquaire en laiton doré – Reliques de Sancti Caroli Borromei ( Saint Charles Borromėe ) Archevêque de Milan  – XIXe siècle - France

Reliquaire doré de style baroque, finement ouvragé, en forme de croix fleurdelisée reposant sur une base décorée. Il renferme un médaillon central vitré contenant une relique de saint catholique.  

La relique ( fragment de tissus ) est montée sur un fond de tissu de soie dorée et so étiquette manuscrite soigneusement scellé avec un sceau ecclésiastique rouge en cire et des fils, confirmant l’authenticité de l’ensemble. 
Ce reliquaire ne contient pas de restes humain. 

Très bon état de conservation. La structure du reliquaire est intacte, le verre est d’origine et non fêlé, le sceau de cire est complet. Léger ternissement normal du métal avec l’âge.
