BODYWORK / PAINTWORK
This MG A 1600 Roadster has been fully restored since its arrival in the Netherlands in 2016. The bodywork was professionally handled, with the car completely stripped and repainted. The paintwork is in excellent condition: even, glossy, and free from visible scratches, dents, or blisters.
The restoration is documented with photos, including images of the painting process. The car shows no signs of rust or previous damage. Necessary welding work on the body was carefully carried out during the restoration.
The chrome work – including bumpers, grille, and trim – has been polished and shines beautifully. The rubbers around the doors, windows, and boot have been replaced and are in good condition. The windows are also in good condition.

TECHNICAL
Technically, this MG A is in excellent condition. Both the engine and gearbox were rebuilt during the restoration. The engine runs smoothly and powerfully, without any unwanted noises or oil leaks.
The gearbox shifts smoothly and without grinding. The clutch engages properly. The car starts reliably, both cold and warm.
Brakes, suspension, and steering have all been thoroughly inspected. Clutches, belts, and hoses have been replaced where necessary. The tires are in good condition with sufficient tread.
Several upgrades have been applied to enhance driving comfort, including an electronic ignition system and power steering. These upgrades provide modern advantages while maintaining the car’s classic appeal.

INTERIOR
The interior was completely reupholstered during the restoration. The seats are reupholstered in red leather and are in top condition, free from cracks or wear.
The dashboard has been restored to maintain the original look, with functioning instruments. The convertible roof is tightly mounted and free from damage. The floor covering is clean and neatly finished.
All electrical components work as they should, including lighting, windshield wipers, and any accessories. The original radio has been replaced with a discreet modern unit.
