2 Antiche cornici risalenti all'800, ricche di cesellature ornate e intagliate in legno, ricoperte di gesso e rivestite in verde dorato antico.
Il maggior pregio di queste cornici sono le grandi cesellature realizzate a foglie d'acanto, cesellature che volteggiano prestigiosamente le cornici. Le cesellature hanno una forma incava proiettando verso l'esterno il quadrante contenete il dipinto che si andrà ad applicare. 
In corrispondenza dei 4 angoli spiccano le grandi foglie d'Acanto creando un raffinato effetto floreale a cascata.  Le cornici sono arricchite da incisioni lineari perpendicolari al bordo interno. 
La colorazione verde dorato e lo stato del legno (vedi foto del lato posteriore) è indice che le cornici sono antiche. 

Si trattano di due bei pezzi che possono essere utilizzati per un ritratto, un dipinto o specchio.
