Exceptional size Victorian Era sterling 925 silver round shaped centerpiece salver. The large embossed border and central surface finely hand engraved with festoons, shells and naturalistic decoration surrounding a monogram.
The back with later commemorative inscription  - on four ornate scrolls feet.

Fully hallmarked London Assay Office guarantee and "u" year letter for 1875, together with Barnard and Sons silversmith's mark. Also number 650

In clean fine 149 years old original condition, crisp hallmarks - great patina, minor dark spots and some scratches - no dings, no repairs, no cracks, as you can see in pictures that are part of the description (wine bottle not included)
