Esta caja artesanal de marquetería es una elegante pieza conmemorativa dedicada a los Juegos Olímpicos de Moscú de 1980. Elaborada en madera con incrustaciones meticulosas, presenta un diseño geométrico que destaca tanto por su simetría como por su contenido simbólico.

En la tapa, el motivo central es el emblema oficial de las olimpiadas de Moscú: una torre estilizada que representa el Kremlin, fusionada con líneas ascendentes que evocan un podio o una estrella, coronada por los cinco aros olímpicos en la base. Este logotipo está rodeado por una serie de triángulos, flechas y patrones dinámicos que recuerdan el estilo gráfico soviético de la época.

Los laterales de la caja repiten el lenguaje visual con formas estrelladas y flechas, en tonos contrastantes que resaltan sobre la madera oscura. El acabado general tiene una pátina envejecida que le otorga un aire nostálgico, casi museográfico.

Este objeto no solo celebra un evento deportivo, sino que también encapsula el diseño gráfico y la estética propagandística de una época histórica clave.
