Interessant om te weten: de naam DS/ID wordt in het Frans uitgesproken als 'Déesse' en betekent 'Godin'. 

Het door ons aangeboden exemplaar is voor het eerst geregistreerd op 20 november 1967. Deze ID is afkomstig uit Zweden. Doordat in Zweden geen zout wordt gestrooid, is de auto in roestvrije en originele staat bewaard gebleven. Ook technisch is deze Citroën tevens in goede staat en is het een genot om mee te rijden. De motor start direct, loopt zeer goed en de versnellingsbak schakelt soepel. 

De souplesse van de welbekende hydraulische vering maakt het een ideale 'voiture' om stijlvol mee te toeren. Het gevoel kan haast niet Franser en nodigt dan ook uit om een royaal gevulde picknickmand met stokbrood en wijn mee te nemen in de kofferbak. Ook op het dakrekje kan een picknickmand of koffer bevestigd worden. Vanaf de bestuurdersstoel wordt uitgekeken over het kenmerkende stuurwiel met slechts één spaak en het fraaie dashboard met onder meer de horizontale snelheidsmeter, een klokje en de een radio. 

De carrosserie is van origine hard en roestvrij, een aantal jaren geleden is deze gespoten in een grijze pastel kleur. Het interieur verkeert in originele, patina staat. De uitvoering is stijlvol: chique grijs lakwerk, fraai chroomwerk, mooie disc-wielen en een rood stoffen interieur. Dankzij 2 opklapbare zitjes in de kofferbak kunnen tot maar liefst 7 personen mee in de Citroën. 

Recent is veel onderhoud aan de auto gepleegd, waaronder het vervangen van de dwarsdemper, achterdemper, draagarmrubbers voor en achter, het oliefilter en een olieverversing. Ongeveer € 2.000,- aan onderhoud is recent aan de auto gepleegd, waarvan de facturen aanwezig zijn. Ook is een Nederlandstalige verkoopbrochure bij de auto aanwezig.
