UUN VERO PEZZO DA MUSEO DELL' OROLOGIO: Ansonia prende il nome Anson C. Phelps, il fondatore delle fabbriche di ottone locali, che facevano parte dell' ancora enorme azienda di rame. Poiché gli orologi erano sempre più fatti di ottone, Phelps offrì un altro mercato e fondo' gli orologi Ansonia nel 1851. Nel 1873 l' azienda fu trasformata in una AG, LA ANSONIA CLOCK CO.
Nel 1878, la fabbrica fu trasferita a Brooklyn e New York.

Rarissimo, magnifico orologio da tavolo "Ansonia Clock CO - New york", meccanico.
Suona le mezz'ore e le ore.
Bella lavorazione di bulino si cassa in ghisa
Esemplare riconducibile al periodo compreso tra 1850-1880.
Particolare meccanica ottocentesca.
Oggetto recententemente revisionato, perfettamente funzionante.
Fornito di pendolo e chiave originali.
Misura:- Cm 31X14 e Cm 27 di altezza.
