A limestone ritual ring with Buddha's Head from the ancient  Western Asiatic , Gandhara culture, Second Millennium AD .

In good condition. It has been cleaned,by hand partly, but the nice antique patina is preserved. There are traces of use and age on its surface.

Purchased in 1995/London  by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market.
