Masque - Bois - Bambara - Mali - 38 cm.

Masque plat Bamana fait dans un bois lourd et dense.
Le visage montre de petits yeux ronds, un nez droit et triangulaire.
La bouche petite et ronde, les oreilles sont en demi- cercles.
Au dessus de la tête apparait une plaque avec 4 renflements circulaires à chaque extrémité.
Au milieu de chaque cercle est fixé un cauri.
Sur le front décoration en V avec des graines d'abruses rouges.
Belle patine lisse et sombre. Bon état.
Il provient de la région de Koulikoro.
