Handgeschilderd bord uit de beroemde plateelbakkerij van De Porceleyne Fles in Delft. Op de achterzijde het logo van de bakkerij en de initialen van maar liefst twee schilders die aan het bord gewerkt hebben, o.a. VL = Van Lijnschoten.
Verder de Jaartalletters AT dat staat voor 1924.
Het bord beeld uit de eerste intercontinentale vlucht met Fokker F 7 van Amsterdam naar Batavia, het huidige Djakarta. 
Verder afgebeeld een zeilschip met jaartal 1597 dat verwijst naar de terugkeer van een deel van de bemanning na de ontdekking van Nova Zembla en het verblijf in het Behouden Huis waar men noodgedwongen de barre winter moesten zien te overleven. Het stoomschip met jaartal 1871 vertelt het verhaal van de ontdekking van het Behouden Huis in dat jaar door een Noorse Walvisvaarder. Bijzonder bord met een bijzonder verhaal.
Conditie: Deze is in een goede vintage conditie. Zie de foto’s.
Afmetingen: Doorsnede 25 cm. Hoogte 3 cm. Gewicht ca. 540 gram.
