19th-century painting. Oil on a wooden panel by the painter Claude GUILLEMINET (1821-1866) signature bottom left. A farmyard scene depicting chickens, a peacock and ducks, typical of Guilleminet’s work. Very beautiful quality of execution, luminous palette, meticulous details. The finesse in the rendering of the feathers, the light entering from the right and the organization of the scene closely match the artist’s compositions. Oil on an antique wooden panel (not restored) with signs of wear (inactive wood-borers). Sold without a frame. Shipped by MBE carrier; no shipping to the USA.
