Mealheiro mecânico antigo “Tiro ao Boneco” em ferro fundido – c. 1930

Raro e curioso mealheiro mecânico de origem americana ou britânica, em ferro fundido policromado, representando uma cena caricata de um atirador apontando a uma figura junto a uma torre. Peça com mecanismo interativo: ao acionar a alavanca ou gatilho, a moeda é “disparada” em direção à torre, ativando o mecanismo e movimentando a figura.

Produzido entre as décadas de 1920 e 1940, este tipo de mealheiro era muito popular nos Estados Unidos e na Europa, com funções tanto decorativas como educativas, incentivando as crianças a poupar de forma lúdica.

Dimensões aproximadas:
	•	Comprimento: 20 cm
	•	Altura: 15 cm

Apresenta sinais de uso e alguma oxidação superficial, condizentes com a idade. Pintura com alguma perda, mas em geral bem conservado para a sua antiguidade.
Funcionamento do mecanismo não testado.

Peça de coleção, decorativa e cada vez mais difícil de encontrar.
