Brass-plated coat rack – inspired by classic luggage racks from steam trains – possibly Eichholtz.
Elegant and characterful brass-plated coat rack, inspired by the authentic luggage racks from 19th- and early 20th-century steam trains. The design exudes nostalgia and evokes the atmosphere of luxury train compartments from bygone eras. The coat rack features a warm brass-colored finish with graceful, decoratively shaped side panels and multiple rods for hanging coats, scarves or accessories. The combination of clean lines and classical ornamentation gives it a timeless look that fits well in both traditional and eclectic or hotel-chic interiors.
On the back is a sticker featuring a lion image and the inscription “handmade”. Based on style and finish, this piece could possibly be attributed to Eichholtz, known for its luxury interior accessories with historical inspiration. However, this is not confirmed with certainty.
Condition: in good vintage condition with light signs of wear appropriate to age and use. The brass has developed a beautiful, warm patina that contributes to its authentic character.
