Vintage Monet Necklace – Triple-Strand Chain – 22K Gold Plated

Elegant vintage necklace by Monet, featuring three refined strands of chain richly plated in 22K gold. This piece reflects the timeless elegance and craftsmanship that defined Monet jewelry through the 20th century. Founded in the U.S. in the 1930s, Monet became renowned for its high-quality costume jewelry inspired by European fashion, with durable finishes and graceful design.

Monet had one jewellery designer, Edmond Granville, from the mid 1930s to the mid 1950s.  Edmond was an accomplished artist and had worked in the design department at Cartier for several years before joining Monet.
Due to their high production quality, they eventually began producing pieces for Yves St. Laurent.  In later years they also produced jewellery for Christian Lacroix.  Because their metal pieces were triple-plated Monet's vintage jewellery tends to maintain its original finish better than most.

Monet jewelry is crafted using quality materials such as brass, enamel, and crystal, offering lightweight and comfortable pieces made to last.

To maintain its beauty, store separately to avoid scratches and clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid perfumes, water, and harsh chemicals.
