Distilled in Marie-Galante in small copper stills, Rhum Rhum Libération aged on site before being "liberated" from its barrel in 2017. It was then reduced to 45% before being bottled. The slow reduction with spring water preserves all of its aromas.
On the nose, a woody aroma bursting with exoticism, borrowing at times from tobacco, at others from black tea, spices, and chocolate. The cane juice is thick and cloudy, carrying a hint of exotic fruits that have fallen to the ground.
Aeration gives a slightly more serious and tense air, thanks to a complex blend of spices that quickly join the cocoa to create a Mexican-style chocolate.

The palate is warm and flavorful, with dried exotic fruits, others ripe and full of sweet and smooth flesh, a soft and tender cane, followed by a terribly captivating, melted oak.

The finish is just as delicious, the oak continuing to tell its spicy and gently vegetal story.
