Tavolino antico ovale con cassetto scolpito – legno massello – Italia, XIX/XX secolo

Descrizione dettagliata:
Elegante tavolino ovale da salotto o da appoggio, realizzato in legno massello finemente lavorato. Il piano, dalla forma ellittica, presenta una superficie liscia con bellissima patina del tempo.

Il bordo del piano è leggermente sagomato, con lavorazione a rilievo che dona profondità e raffinatezza. La fascia sotto il piano è arricchita da un cassetto centrale con cornice scolpita a motivi floreali e vegetali, decorata da una presa in metallo cesellato originale d’epoca.

Ai lati del cassetto sono presenti ulteriori intagli ornamentali di gusto classico, con motivi a festoni e rosette. Le gambe sono scanalate, rastremate verso il basso e collegate da un’elegante crociera sagomata e decorata anch’essa con intagli a rilievo, che garantisce solidità e armonia alla struttura.

Il mobile è espressione del gusto neoclassico Luigi XVI, riconoscibile nella linearità delle forme, nelle gambe a sezione tonda e nelle decorazioni sobrie ma ricercate.

Condizioni:
Buone condizioni generali, con normali segni del tempo e della conservazione che ne attestano l’autenticità e l’epoca. Leggere tracce di usura sul piano e sul fronte del cassetto, che non ne compromettono l’estetica ma anzi ne esaltano il fascino antico. Struttura solida e stabile.
