Pema raka beads are hard to find, sough and highly appreciate in Indo-Tibetan and Himalayan areas and among bead collectors. The Tibetan name Pema Raka originates from the sanskrit 'Rakta Padma' (Red or Blood Lotus). Known in Chinese as Nan Hong 南红.
