Splendida sedia africana "Baoulé intagliata a mano dal popolo Baoulé della Costa d'Avorio, in Europa specialmente in Francia e nelle colonie francesi africane queste sedie venivano comunemente chiamate "chaise palaver", ovvero sedia da conferenza. E' completamente realizzata in legno pieno di tek, presenta splendidi dettagli intagliati sulla parte anteriore dello schienale e può essere smontata in due parti. Il secondo pezzo è la seduta che scorre attraverso un tassello nella parte bassa dello schienale per appoggiarsi a terra e bilanciare la sedia. Una volta montata misura cm 84 di altezza ed una profondità complessiva aperta di cm 87 (vedasi ultima foto), la seduta è alta 34 cm, profonda 31 cm e larga 40 cm. La tavola principale, cioè lo schienale, misura complessivamente cm 111 di lunghezza, cm 35 di larghezza e cm 33 di profondità. La sedia è completamente realizzata ed intagliata a mano, ricavata da due tavole di tek spesse ben 4 cm e quindi il suo peso complessivo è c/a 10 kg.
