A deep, almost impenetrable ruby color with garnet highlights that hold up well, it presents a bold yet delicate bouquet with refined aromas of ripe cherries, dark currants, and dried plums. There are also soft hints of milk chocolate, hints of rhubarb, and balsamic notes of mentholated tobacco: a refined, harmonious, and elegant bouquet. The palate is crisp and juicy, supported by a tannic texture that is lively yet enveloping and mature. The alcoholic warmth is well balanced by an invigorating citrus freshness, making the wine both substantial and easy to drink.
