Condition:
Scarce original edition, in 2 volumes. Very good condition for its age. 
Half calf, lightly rubbed. Board covers are intact with strong hinges. 
Some corner bumping and other shelf wear lightly rubbed.
Text page overall majority in clean condition, except small amount with stain. 
Frontispieces and 43 plates. Further illustrations in the text. Engraved and printed title pages.
