These ornate three-light candelabra date from the late 19th century during the Victorian era, when elaborate silver and silver-plated tableware was highly fashionable among the upper and aspiring middle classes. The pieces feature the characteristic rococo-revival styling with scrolling arms, floral motifs, and ornate detailing typical of the period.

The base is made of bronze and covered with silver, with some areas, such as the upper section, being solid silver.
