Medaglia 1911, Cinquantenario del Regno d’Italia – Pietro Morbiducci/Colucci – Bronzo Ø circa 40 mm, 28 g

Al dritto: la celebre lupa capitolina che allatta Romolo e Remo, con un’aquila romana a destra. In basso compaiono le date MMDCXIV – MMDCLXIV (corrispondenti a 1861–1911) e al centro un medaglione con la scritta ROMA.

Al rovescio: due figure reggono cartiglio con la scritta “Cinquantenario della Proclamazione del Regno d’Italia”.

Coniata in occasione delle celebrazioni per i 50 anni dell’Unità d’Italia durante l’Esposizione Internazionale di Roma e Torino del 1911. Opera del rinomato scultore Pietro Morbiducci e Colucci autore di numerose medaglie celebrative del primo Novecento.
