Coppia di centauri completamente in bronzo, chiamati "Centauri furietti".
Riduzione in scala dei due centauri originali, esposti nei Musei Capitolini, Roma.
Gli originali furono rinvenuti nel 1736, nella villa dell'imperatore Adriano, a Tivoli.
Nella mitologia greca, i centauri esseri umani, tra l'umano e l'animale, con busto e testa d'uomo, ed il corpo e zampe da animale.
I due manufatti sono di sicura ispirazione neo-classica, di aria italiana.
Databili intorno alla fine del XX secolo.
Si presentano in buone condizioni, con patina originale.
Le sculture erano esposte all'esterno e quindi alle intemperie.
Provenienza privata.
