Superbe buste masculin réalisé en plâtre patiné blanc, représentant un homme émacié aux traits saillants et expressifs. Le sculpteur a volontairement accentué les volumes : visage osseux, orbites creusées, torse marqué par la maigreur, donnant à l’œuvre une intensité dramatique.

On sent ici une démarche artistique proche de l’expressionnisme, visant à traduire l’intériorité et la fragilité humaine plutôt qu’à rechercher l’idéal classique. Les coups de modelage sont visibles, ce qui apporte une belle authenticité et un caractère brut.
