Tiefe rubinrote Farbe, Aromen von dunklen Beeren, Kirschen und Pflaumen, begleitet von würzigen Noten. Am Gaumen weich und harmonisch, mit eleganten Tanninen. Trinkreif, aber mit Potenzial für weitere 3–5 Jahre Lagerung.

Hintergrund:

Fronsac gilt als Geheimtipp in Bordeaux: Merlot-betonte Weine mit großem Trinkvergnügen und einem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, das deutlich günstiger ist als in Saint-Émilion oder Pomerol.
