A fine Diwan manuscript page from the most famous Sufi poet, Hafez dated AH120, which translates to 1708/9. The page has been recovered from a largely damaged folio, however, this folio is in good condition with minimal signs of colour fade.  It is a nice example of the finer editions of the Dewan, with a very attractive layout of red cartouches dividing the folio and gold clouds dividing the text. The reverse has blue cartouche dividing the text. As far as we can make out, the text between the blue cartouche reads ' Keep the Assembly and you will are rewarded with a heart full of life and soul''.
