Keary..."The Nations Around" published in 1870....Looks at the Palestinian area in history from the Assyrians, the Egyptians, ancient Kings, the biblical references and the Jews, mainly Ancient Egypt which the author had previously written about. 3 engraved plates, one double page.         Book in good condition. inside light foxing but overall clean, externally light stains on original boards, bright gilt, wear aaround edges and corners, wear head and tail of spine.
Uncommon. Scarce.
