Set van twee fraaie antieke houten lijsten met geperst reliëf en originele glasplaat. Zwaar, rijk gedecoreerd.
Met portretten van een man en een vrouw (waarschijnlijk rond 1910), deels handmatig bewerkt.
Afmetingen: 54 × 64 cm per lijst.
Conditie: in relatief goede staat, met lichte gebruikssporen passend bij de leeftijd (zie foto’s).
Decoratief als set, mooi voorbeeld van vroege 20e-eeuwse portretfotografie in originele lijsten.
De lijsten hebben kenmerken van de vroeg 20e-eeuwse Art Deco Historiserende stijl. Het reliëfdecor met geometrische ovalen en cirkelvormen sluit aan bij de ornamentiek die rond 1910–1920 populair was. Het is een soort overgangsstijl, vaak aangeduid als Interbellum-stijl of decoratief historiserend met reliëfdecor.
