Fétiche vaudou crocodile, culture Fon, Bénin.

Puissant fétiche vaudou Fon du Bénin lié au culte d'Atchakpa. C'est un culte dédié à la protection. Il est composé d'un grand crâne de crocodile, de fer serpents, de poteries et d'éléments magique. Sa bouche est attaché. Il est recouvert d'une belle patine d'offrandes. L'ensemble est bien composé. Cette oeuvre possède un fort pouvoir évocateur. Sous certains angle le fétiche semble nous observer, le regard pointu, les dents sorti avec un rictus mystérieux. Il est rare de voir des fétiche de cette force et de cette qualité. Une belle pièce de collection Vaudou ancienne et authentique. Circa 1950.
