Oude stijlvolle brievenweger, weegschaal voor brieven. 
Heeft voorop reclame voor de Nederlandse snoepfabriek DE FAAM BREDA.
Achterop staat de slogan: FIJN FAAM FANTASTISCH.
De brievenweger is onmiskenbaar van fabrikant: Philipp Jakob Maul uit Hamburg, Duitsland, een M-Logo ontbreekt.
Het wegermodel is bekend onder de naam RICTUS. 
Het mechanisme werd in 1921 beschermd met een Duits patent D.R.P. 384478.
Weegt tot 250 gram, hoog 16,5 cm, huis max. breed 13,8 cm, diepte 2,9 cm, voetmaten 13,3 x 5,3 cm. 
Het briefplateau is 9,7 x 7,7 cm, er in staat de tekst NIET VOOR HANDELSDOELEINDEN.
Het gaatje linksboven op het front wordt gebruikt om het mechanisme te sperren tijdens transport.
Heeft een nulstelschroef.
Briefwaage, pèse-lettres, pesacartas, letter scale, postal scale, pesa lettere, brevvåg, vekt, brievenweger, brevvægt, brievenweegschaal, weegschaal voor brieven, briefweger, postvekt, pesalettere.
