The collection ‘Imsun (Signed)’ by Nobuyoshi Araki, one of the defining photographers of the 20th century. Now 80 years old, he continues his energetic activities without slowing down, with exhibitions and photo book publications ongoing both domestically and internationally. His recent domestic exhibitions have primarily been held at galleries like Takai Gallery and art space AM, curated by Hisako Motoo. This catalog was published for his 2017 exhibition at AM. It completes the trilogy following 2015's “Imka” and 2016's “Imshu,” concluding with 2017's “Imsun.” Shifting completely from the previous year's monochrome, this is entirely in color, featuring figures dancing amidst floral still lifes—Araki's unique world of life and death. Signed by the photographer.
