The third volume contains interesting notes, corrections and annotations. This is the first time that the first edition of the two parts of Don Quixote has been reproduced in facsimile. Rius says of it: "The appearance of the first edition of both parts of Don Quixote, reproduced by phototypesetting, was a bibliographical and typographical event.
