The Order of the Red Star is one of the highest military awards of the USSR, established in 1930 to reward merits in defending the state, both in wartime and in peacetime, in ensuring state security and the country's defense capability. The order was awarded to military personnel, military units and enterprises that demonstrated personal courage, bravery and high professional qualities in strengthening the defense of the USSR and maintaining its security.A wonderful set for one person, reserve sergeant major Ivan Maksimovich Popik.awarded four medals for the victory over Germany 20 years of victory in the Great Patriotic War 30 years of victory in the Great Patriotic War and 50 years of the armed forces of the USSR. 2. The Jubilee Medal "Twenty Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945" was established by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on May 7, 1965, to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The authors of the design for the medal were artists V. A. Ermakov (obverse) and Yu. A. Lukyanov (reverse)[1]. 3. The Jubilee Medal "Thirty Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945" was established by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of April 25, 1975 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Victory over Nazi Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. The authors of the design for the medal were artists V. A. Ermakov and V. P. Zaitsev (both - obverse), as well as A. G. Miroshnichenko (reverse).The Jubilee Medal "50 Years of the Armed Forces of the USSR" was established by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on December 26, 1967, in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Armed Forces of the USSR. The author of the medal's design is the artist A. B. Zhuk. 4. The medal was established by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on May 9, 1945. The medal "For Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945" was awarded to citizens of the USSR who served in units of the Red Army, Navy and NKVD and who took personal part in combat operations and in work to provide for the front.
