L’IWC Ingenieur 3508 è stato un esperimento della maison di Schaffhausen, prodotto tra il 1988 e il 1992 solo 4 anni

La particolarità di questo orologio è la resistenza ai campi magnetici, il calibro montato parte da una collaudatissima base eta 2892/A2 modificato pesantemente da IWC e successivamente rinominato in 35790.

L’orologio stabilì un record mondiale resistendo a 4 milioni di a/m superando di granlunga (per far un esempio pratico) il Rolex Millgauss.

Difatti 80000 a/m corrispondono a circa 1000 gauss ovvero il tetto massimo di resistenza del Rolex

( L’ingenieur è più resistente di circa 5 volte )

Il design dell’Ingenieur è dato dalla penna del famoso Gerald Genta, lo stesso designer del Nautilus di Patek Philippe e del Royal Oak di Audemars Piguet, per citarne alcuni.

Bracciale integrato, cassa da 34mm e spessore di soli 8,8 mm.

Quadrante gilt trizio in condizioni perfette.
