Beeld ‘brons’ ‘jachthond‘ – niet gesigneerd –.
Halsband rood koper.
Gemonteerd op messing voet.
Het beeld is in een goede gebruikte conditie met tekenen van ouderdom. (Zie foto’s)
Zeer fijne details en mooie patina.
In goede staat, moet opgepoetst worden.
Jachthonden zijn al sinds de oudheid gezelschap van jagers, beschermers van landgoederen, en trouwe metgezellen. In kunst en cultuur wordt de jachthond vaak afgebeeld als symbool van betrouwbaarheid, snelheid en intelligentie. In de context van een bronzen sculptuur krijgt deze symboliek nog meer diepgang: het gewicht en de duurzaamheid van brons onderstrepen de onverzettelijke aard van het dier. Bronzen beelden worden immers gemaakt om eeuwen mee te gaan, net als de reputatie van de jachthond.

Een mooie aanwinst voor de jager, natuur- ,hondenliefhebber of verzamelaar.

•  Materiaal: Waarschijnlijk 100% massief brons; halsband rood koper; voet messing
•  Afwerking: natuurlijk patina met warme bruintinten
•  Techniek: traditioneel gegoten volgens de verlorenwasmethode
•  Gewicht: zwaar en stabiel dankzij het massieve karakter en de montage op messing voet

Volgens mondelinge verhaling van de vroegere eigenaar, werd het beeld gemaakt tijdens de jaren ’50, in de voormalige installaties van de NMBS ‘Centrale Werkplaatsen’ te Kessel-Lo (B).
