La collaboration entre la Manufacture Rosenthal et la fratrie Versace a débuté au début des années 1990. Les designers milanais ont décidé de créer des décorations saisissantes pour les cadeaux de créateurs Rosenthal. Leurs créations ont suscité un tel intérêt qu'il a été immédiatement décidé de lancer une collection originale. C'est ainsi qu'est née la rencontre entre Rosenthal et Versace. Aujourd'hui, chaque saison, la Manufacture Rosenthal présente de nouvelles collections de porcelaine et de verre inspirées des créations de Gianni et Donatella Versace.
