A superbly made silver plated inkwell on four paw feet, measuring circa 20cm in length and weighing 882g, with domed, hinged lid between four pilasters crowned with lathed finials, the loose hanging ring handles held by lion head mascarons.
Not marked. Very fine work, mid to late 19th century.
Condition: very good, no damages or repairs. Minor wear commensurate with age.
