Vintage lectuurbak / krantenhouder van rotan en bamboe, waarschijnlijk uit de jaren ’60–’70.

Mooie vintage lectuurbak, vervaardigd uit rotan en bamboe, met een naturel vlechtwerk gecombineerd met donkergroen gebeitste details. Het elegante gebogen handvat en de gevlochten verbindingen geven dit stuk een charmante en decoratieve uitstraling.

Dit type lectuurbak werd in de jaren ’60 en ’70 veel gebruikt als kranten- en tijdschriftenhouder, maar sluit vandaag de dag naadloos aan bij een bohemian of retro interieur. Licht van gewicht, functioneel en tegelijk een sfeervol woonaccessoire.

Een ideaal stuk voor de liefhebber van vintage rotan meubels en accessoires.

Kenmerken:

Handgemaakt in een combinatie van naturel rotan en donkergroen gebeitste bamboe.

Stevig gebogen handvat en poten, met decoratief gevlochten verbindingen.

Luchtige constructie waardoor kranten en tijdschriften goed zichtbaar en makkelijk te pakken zijn.

Typisch mid-century bohemian design, zoals vaak gezien werd in de jaren ’60 en ’70 in Europa.

Geschikt als kranten- of tijdschriftenhouder, maar tegenwoordig ook geliefd als boho-chic woonaccessoire of decoratief mandje.
